Dr. Jitender Singh

I am working as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics, Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, Punjab, India since March 17, 2009. Prior to that I worked as a NBHM Post Doctoral Fellow at Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata during 2008-09. I work in pure as well as applied Mathematics. The thrust areas of my current research are as follows: Applied Mathematics: The Taylor Couette problem , Rayleigh Benard Convection, shooting methods . Pure Mathematics: Analytic number theory; General Mathematics (e.g. Analysis; Topology) .
