Dr. Junjie Chen

Education: Dr. Chen completed her ph.d from the department of electrical engineering at university of texas at arlington, usa in 2014. She received her m.s. Degree from beijing university of posts and telecommunications in 2010, and b.s. Degree from xidian university, china, in 2007. Experience: dr. Chen has vast experience in different areas of wireless communications, signal processing for communications, radar sensor networks, wireless sensor networks, sparse sensing for big data, information theory, fuzzy logic systems, etc. Publications: 10+ papers published in prestige international conferences and journals. Projects: dr. Chen participates and contributes to 3 nsf-supported projects (nsf award number: 1247848, 1116749, and 0964713). Academic service: dr. Chen serves as academic editor of the physical science international journal since may 2015. Besides, dr. Chen serves as tpc member 10+ times in prestige international conferences ( wcsp’15, wcsp’14, ieee icc’13 – ws rsn, wcsp’13, csps’13, iiki’13, ieee icc’12 - ws rsn, ieee globecom'12 ws – rsn, csps’12, chinacom’11). Award: dr. Chen received the research in motion scholarship three times in 2014, 2013 and 2011, and cisco systems scholarship in 2013. Specialization areas: signal processing, big data, sparse sensing (compressive sensing, nested sampling, co-prime sampling), wireless communications, wireless sensor networks, information theory.
