Dr. Subramanian Vaithyasubramanian
He was born in Madurai, Tamilnadu, India. He is an Assistant Professor, PG & Research Department of Mathematics, Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College, Madras University, Chennai, India. He did his undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Madura College, Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamil Nadu, India. He has also got his Master of Philosophy degree in Mathematics from Saraswathi Narayanan College. He did his Master of Business Administration in the specialization Human Resource management from Annamalai University and Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Research from Pondicherry University. He started his teaching career in the year 2002 as a lecturer in the department of Mathematics Vickram College of Engineering, Madurai. In the year 2005, he was moved to Prathyusha Engineering College, Chennai, associated with the Department of Mathematics, Sathyabama University from 2007 to 2021. He has involved himself in many departmental activities. He has been an active organizer in international and national conferences conducted by the Department of Mathematics. He also organized Workshops and Seminars for the benefit of the student community. His outreach activity in promoting Mathematics amongst school children is noteworthy. His interested areas of research are Formal Languages, Petri Net, Mathematical Modelling, Information Security and CAPTCHAs. He has published various articles in his fields of research in reputed journals.
